Solution Services:
Process/Methods

AETEA maintains an effective and proven set of methodologies to engage with our customers.  We recognize that a single methodology doesn’t guarantee project success with every client.  Therefore, we maintain best practices across all methodologies, with flexibility to adapt to our customers or a specific project.  Above all, we are focused on providing a technology solution to the business problem at hand.

Our best practices focus on quality, communication, and managing project scope and requirements.  Whether it’s an Agile, RUP or Waterfall process, the key fundamental principals of project and process management are maintained and we tailor the approach as required.  Overall, AETEA maintains the following processes

  • Agile and Iterative Solution Development – our normal recommendation for new business and technology systems
  • RUP – generally for larger project engagements based on existing client methodologies and processes
  • Waterfall - for use with fully defined systems and fixed price project engagements

In addition, we place a large emphasis on Solution Architecture throughout the process in order to:

  • Address System Quality
  • Drive Architectural Integrity
  • Provide a Basis for Reuse
  • Reduce Maintenance Costs
  • Help Manage Complexity
