Resource Fulfillment for Large Government Contract

Customer:  Prime Service Provider for $281M Government Contract

Critical Issue: The customer had just been awarded an extensive contract to develop a fully integrated Personnel and Pay capability system for all military branches of the Department of Defense, a system that would support more than three million military personnel deployed globally.

Reasons: This would be one of the largest, most complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives ever launched and the defense contractor was in need of a team of additional resources to provide various roles.

Vision: The customer required partners to supplement their project team throughout the project lifecycle. These resources had to be available immediately and possess a complete understanding of ERP and PeopleSoft application architecture.

AETEA Provided: AETEA was brought on as one of the key teaming partners and provided a team comprised of functional and technical analysts, ERP developers, system testers, database administrators and trainers.

Result: AETEA’s team was a huge factor in the success of the project, a system designed to be the single authoritative source of personnel information on individuals and units across the Department of Defense, regardless of military service affiliation.
